There has been so much going on with Donald Trump's impeachment inquiry, that there has not been as much focus on the democratic or republican race.
Much has been happening in the democratic sphere these past few weeks.
Four democratic candidates have separated themselves from the others, standing out above the rest. More specifically Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg. These four candidates took the stage at the democratic debate on Nov 20. in Atlanta, Georgia.
Not all democratic candidates were able to participate in the debate, however, that does not mean they are out of the race.
Democratic candidates are focusing more on liberal positions than ever before and that has stricken a chord with voters. Candidates have been focusing on important issues such as climate change, immigration issues and healthcare, which is affecting everyone in the country whether they believe it or not.
The fact that the democratic candidates have taken these stances, has caused for some intense and sharp questions about their previous thoughts and views. For example, Harris' work as a prosecutor has been questioned.
An important factor and question that these candidates must consider is who their target audience is for each state, how are they going to appeal to certain groups.
